Travaux de construction de la carapace en blocs artificiels sur Upper Zakum North Island.
Déchargement des blocs artificiels sur Upper Zakum North Island pour les travaux de construction de la carapace.

background

NMDC was required to construct four oil islands on the Zakum site: two protected with Xbloc® and two with ACCROPODE™ II. CLAS inspectors provided full-time assistance to NMDC throughout the construction works.

ACCROPODE™ is a registered trademark owned by the ARTELIA Group, and Xbloc® is a registered trademark owned by DMC. These companies are in no way affiliated with CLAS.

Thanks to this complete independence from license holders, CLAS was able to deliver fully impartial expertise and certification, with no risk of conflict of interest. This neutrality made it possible to strictly apply our control methods, objectively assess installation quality, and ensure the reliability of the structures built on the Zakum islands.
