Upper Zakum – CLAS Assistance, Training and Certification (NMDC)

NMDC chose the experts of CLAS (formerly IDMer) to support it in the construction of the four ZAKUM islands.

Two islands were built with an X-bloc® armor layer and two with an ACCROPODE™ II armor layer. NMDC chose IDMer, now CLAS, for the construction of the four islands and the final certification of the works.

X-bloc® is a registered trademark owned by DMC, and ACCROPODE™ is a registered trademark owned by the ARTELIA Group. These companies are in no way affiliated with CLAS.

The independence of CLAS from the license vendors is a determining factor in delivering objective and impartial certification.
