IJM–CHEC testimonial
I hereby confirm that CLAS was in charge of the quality certification process for the breakwater project of the NEW DEEP WATER TERMINAL at the Port of Kuantan, Malaysia.
55,000 ACCROPODE™ II units were installed and approved.
CLAS inspectors ensured a permanent on-site presence, which guaranteed the delivery of a Class A certified structure, without accumulation of major defects and without the need for significant dismantling after installation.
The continuous presence of CLAS was a key factor in the success of this project. CLAS inspectors also provided advice that enabled IJM–CHEC to achieve the quality levels expected by the Client.
Class A certification confirms that the breakwater built by IJM–CHEC complies with the design and the TID provided by CLI.
IJM–CHEC has no hesitation in recommending CLAS for any certification process or for any assistance related to the construction of protective structures using single-layer concrete armor units.
