Background

CFE Qatar was experiencing difficulties on the Ras Laffan project, as the installation of ACCROPODE™ blocks had been rejected. The company then abandoned the POSIBLOC™ system and called upon IDMer, now CLAS, to provide full technical assistance. The objective was to correct ineffective installation methods and achieve the level of quality required by the client.

ACCROPODE™ is a registered trademark owned by the ARTELIA Group and is in no way affiliated with CLAS.

POSIBLOC™ is a registered trademark owned by the company MESURIS, which is also in no way affiliated with CLAS.

The independent expertise of IDMer, now CLAS, enabled CFE Qatar to restart the project without the disastrous procedures initially implemented, which were heavily affected by conflicts of interest.
