Background
Van Oord was facing delays on the Dung Quat Port project, exposing the company to potential financial penalties. In order to achieve the required quality and production objectives, Van Oord called upon IDMer, now operating as CLAS.
CLAS’s intervention made it possible to improve both the installation rate and the installation quality of the ACCROPODE™ units.

CLAS intervened on this project in full independence.

Training the installation teams and divers,
Monitoring the construction works,
Ensuring quality in accordance with best engineering practice and contractual requirements,
Recovering schedule delays and achieving a high production rate.

Result
The structure was delivered on schedule, without reservations at acceptance.
