CLAS operates on port breakwaters and coastal protection structures, in France and internationally, for new construction, rehabilitation, reconstruction, as well as independent expert assessments of existing structures.
Our interventions concern breakwaters exposed to wave action, built with artificial concrete armour units, in single-layer or double-layer configurations, involving high requirements in terms of hydraulic stability, placement accuracy, durability and long-term performance.
CLAS supports projects at all stages, from on-site technical assistance to independent supervision, expert assessment of existing breakwaters, final inspection and certification of maritime structures.

CLAS is an independent company specialized in breakwater expertise, technical assistance, safety and certification of coastal structures.
For more than thirty years, we have supported project owners and maritime construction companies in breakwater construction, quality control, and compliance of maritime structures, in France and internationally.
Our expertise covers all types of artificial concrete armour units, in single-layer or double-layer configurations, with comprehensive support ranging from team training through to final certification of structures.
