Its activities involve structures exposed to wave action, built with artificial concrete armour units, in single-layer or double-layer configurations, requiring a high level of hydraulic stability, placement accuracy and quality control.

CLAS is an independent company specialized in breakwater expertise, technical assistance, safety and certification of coastal structures.
For more than thirty years, we have supported project owners and maritime construction companies in breakwater construction, quality control, and compliance of maritime structures, in France and internationally.
Our expertise covers all types of artificial concrete armour units, in single-layer or double-layer configurations, with comprehensive support ranging from team training through to final certification of structures.
