GEOTUBES® SOLUTIONS CAN QUICKLY BUILD DAMS

 

We have implemented this technique in NIGER for the construction of a dam on the NIGER river. Work began underwater.

 

 

The anchors at the base of the structure were quickly installed to guide the installation of the first geotube® and fix it to the bottom of the river.

This first step then made it possible to position the other geotubes and build the dam.

 

 

After only one week of preparation and two weeks of work, it was possible to drain this part of the river to carry out the earthworks.
