HISTORICAL:
BOUYGUES TP had launched the construction of the new port of Port La Nouvelle.
The installation of the ACCROPODE ™ II blocks was initially carried out with a system
POSIBLOCTM. The installation was too slow and the poor quality required
Frequent dismantling, associated with difficult weather conditions, the project found itself in difficulty.
BOUYGUES TP has made the decision to call in specialist divers,
to quickly protect the fairground dam, the most exposed part of the project.
CLAS was commissioned to achieve ACCROPODE ™ II block protection
of the head, then of all the parts exposed to the swell, of the fairground dam.
The shell consists of ACCROPODE ™ II blocks from 9 to 14 m3.
KEY NUMBERS:
ACCROPODE ™ II 12 and 14 m3 = approximately 800 units.
MISSION:
Place the ACCROPODE ™ II and protect the exposed parts,
in a very short time.
PROCEDURE:
CLAS has set up an installation team by divers, trained and supervised
by a CLAS inspector.
RESULTS:
The objectives have been achieved. The book was copyrighted in just two months.
