HISTORY:
 
The four dykes of the New Coastal Route showed breakage of ACCROPODE ™ II    in   an unusual proportion.
 
CLAS was commissioned to carry out an appraisal of ACCROPODE ™ II armours.

PROCEDURE:
 
CLAS inspectors conducted dive and drone inspections to find and establish the    causes of the movements that caused the breakage of ACCROPODE ™ II because the quality of the concrete was good.
 
 
 
 
RESULT:
 
The causes of the breakages of ACCROPODE ™ II have been established.
CLAS has carried out a risk assessment with regard to design and contracts objectives.
