HISTORY:

The companies BUESA TRAVAUX MARITIMES ET FLUVIAUX and NATALI are in charge of the reconstruction of the DRAGON dyke in BASTIA.

CLAS was chosen to assist companies during this work.

 

 

KEY NUMBERS:

Mission:

- Train the teams installing ACCROPODE™II blocks in the specific safety of this work.

- Accompany the company full time.

- Implement the quality certification procedure.

 

 

 

 

 

PROCEDURE:

 

CLAS mobilized two inspectors who take turns on the site to ensure a full-time presence.

We have provided theoretical and then practical training, for the safety specific to this work, for our techniques for placing ACCROPODE™II and in order to optimize the production.

 

 

 

 

 

The installation of the ACCROPODES™II is checked every day, several times if necessary, in order to avoid disassembly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

RESULT:

The project was completed on time and approved as a CLASS A breakwater without reservation upon receipt.

I, the undersigned François DUFOUR, holding the position of Project Director for the reconstruction of the Dragon and Môle Génois dikes in BASTIA, within ENTREPRISE NATALI, the company responsible for the construction of the breakwater armours, hereby certify that the company CLAS SLU has given us full satisfaction in the execution of the tasks entrusted to it.
These services involved technical assistance to ENTREPRISE NATALI for the reconstruction of the breakwater armours of the port of BASTIA. The mission entrusted to CLAS included the following points in particular:

- Provide one-off assistance on request, during the study phase of technical solutions.
- Ensure the monitoring of training in personnel safety and the technique of laying ACCROPODE™II blocks.
- Provide full-time assistance during the construction phase.
- Achieve quality and production objectives.
- Carry out quality certification for the project manager and the project owner for CLASS A works.
The CLAS company fulfilled its mission professionally and respected the deadlines given to it. The works were received without reservations and the certification file prepared by the CLAS company for the two breakwaters was attached to the DOE.

THE NATALI COMPANY has no hesitation in recommending CLAS for missions of this type, on dikes using artificial armour blocks.
