The competence
There are only a few companies specializing in technologies ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, CORELOC™, ECOPODE™, Xbloc®: Delta Marine consultants which sells the license Xbloc®, Concrete Layer Innovations which sells licenses ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II , CORELOC™, ECOPODE™ and CLAS which does not sell any license and provides full time assistance on your projects to achieve the quality and production objectives you expect.
CLAS inspectors are able to install ACCROPODE™II blocks themselves at an approved rate of 12 to 15 ACCROPODE™II per hour.
CLAS has built its reputation on more than thirty ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, ECOPODE™, CORELOC™, X-bloc® , BS1, BS2, BS3 structures, built in record time, approved without reservation and showing no damage or repair since receipt of the work.
Our know-how in the implementation of ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, ECOPODE™, CORELOC™, X-bloc® , BS1, BS2, BS3 is exclusive because built for 22 years with the full-time presence of our agents on the most prestigious projects in the world such as RAS LAFFAN: 110,000 ACCROPODE™, KHALIFA: 210,000 ACCROPODE™, BARAKAH 110,000 CORELOC™, DAS ISLAND: 55,000 Xbloc®, the four islands of ZAKUM: 70,000 ACCROPODE™II and 70,000 Xbloc®, KUANTAN 110 000 ACCROPODE™II etc…
This represents the greatest number of hours of cumulative presence on site. No other company in the world has such experience.

The independence
This quality is essential for claiming to do certification and acceptance of work. Conflict of interest is a major cause of poor construction:
In EN ISO / IEC 17020, type A third party inspection bodies are completely independent. They cannot exercise any incompatible activity (design, manufacture, supply or maintenance) which could compromise their impartiality.
This is the level of absolute independence that we bring to the Owners.
CLAS inspector shows a non-conformity to the contractor
In the case of voluntary certification requested by the contractor, CLAS, which does not sell licenses or equipment to the contractor, is by far the most independent, but this is not enough. We have registered the CLAS TECHNOLOGY COMPLIANT™ mark which indicates that the armours of ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, ECOPODE™, CORELOC™ , X-bloc® , BS1, BS2, BS3 or other blocks will have the same level of quality as all the works controlled by CLAS. Independence is a clause in all of our contracts.
You will never see an ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, ECOPODE™, CORELOC™, X-bloc® , BS1, BS2, BS3 or other class A breakwater certified by CLAS that does not conform to the design and technology of ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, ECOPODE™, CORELOC™, X-bloc® , BS1, BS2, BS3 or other blocks.
Impartiality
Not being subject to a conflict of interest because we don't sell licenses or equipment, it's easy to be impartial.
If an ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, ECOPODE™, CORELOC™, X-bloc® , BS1, BS2, BS3 or other blocks has non-conformities, we can explain it, we can rectify it and we know how to avoid major dismantling. Because our inspectors are present full time, there is never any major disassembly and because our inspectors know how to adjust the underlayer and place all the blocks ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, ECOPODE™, CORELOC™, X-bloc® , BS1, BS2, BS3, there is never any delay or problem with the company. So it's easy for us to be impartial.
Inspector CLAS films a non-conformity of the underlayer intended to receive ACCROPODE™ I in order to explain it to the company and find solutions to remove these problems
Objectivity
Objectivity comes with experience and competence. The inspectors we put at your service are the ones who have the most hours of presence on site, on and under water, in the world. We know how to analyze the risks linked to non-conformities and explain them.
Often the design does not take into account the difficulties linked to geographic location and daily sea conditions. It sometimes happens that the installation of ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, ECOPODE™, CORELOC™, X-bloc® , BS1, BS2, BS3 or other blocks is not possible under good conditions because of a strong permanent swell and zero visibility. In this case, you must accept the consequences of this situation, which the laboratory never integrates, to test the stability of the structures. This is one of the limits in the optimal use of ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, ECOPODE™, CORELOC™, X-bloc® , BS1, BS2, BS3 or other blocks. We will be able to explain it to you, we will be able to find solutions adapted to your site conditions to optimize the quality of the installation of ACCROPODE™, ACCROPODE™II, ECOPODE™, CORELOC™, X-bloc® , BS1, BS2, BS3 or other blocks, without lying to you about the risks that may still exist. This objectivity is possible because we do not sell inspection tools whose limits we know how to assess, we do not sell licenses and we do not sell equipment. Objectivity is only possible because we are competent and independent.
